Central Delivery Service was founded in 1946 with the original intent to provide groceries, newspapers and medication to house-bound elderly individuals. Our first delivery was made using a motorcycle with a sidecar!

In 1967, the Krause family purchased the company and introduced mail service and same-day parcel delivery, available to a wide variety of distributors and manufacturers. When the Krause family took over, there was one van and one employee. In 1984, the second generation of the Krause family took over and Central Delivery Service saw an explosion of growth. We went from one truck and employee to 15 trucks and a staff of 17 people from 1984 to 1996.

Today, the third generation of Krause's has taken over the family business and the company's growth has continued. Currently, Central Delivery Service runs 19 multiple-sized vehicles daily and employs 25 dedicated, professional drivers and staff members. We have continued to see steady growth through the years due to our flexibility in what we deliver and the wide array of services we provide.
